Me and my fiance are going as Jack and Sally for halloween-I need some ideas on how to make my Chihuahua into Zero (Jacks’ Dog). Can anyone help me???

Okay, So I thought I had my dogs halloween costume all planned out. Gunner was going to be a cow, Dixie a pig.

Dixie’s costume-

Take a 0-3 onsie dye it pink.
Cut out a hole for tail and a tiny hole in the back for the d loops of her harness to go through.
Then I was going to take pink felt and attach little triangles to a headband for her to wear.
I was going to spiral pipe cleaner around her tail to make the pig tail effect.

Gunners Costume-

Take a 3-6 month onsie put black spots on it with shoe polish.
take black felt and put it on a head band for the ears.
I was going to use a small latex glove dyed pink filled with stuffing as the utters.

My Plan was coming together so well and then I realized…How will they potty? What do I need to do to their onsie to open it up so they can potty. I have no sewing experience what so ever.

Would it be easier to just buy plain white dog jumpers? I looked on the internet for them and couldn’t find any and I am sure they would be
really expensive where as I can buy onsies at my local goodwill. where can i find jumpers
UGH! I did not ask you for your opinion about dressing up MY pets did I? No!

People dress their dobermans us for the national doberman whatever and so on so forth. So once a year is no big task! So shut-up if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all
Plus JJW they will only be in them for an hour or so while we are at a pet contest. Where I live dressing your pet up for halloween is as popular as dressing your kids up. And shows how much you know because my dogs like wearing clothing..

I am going to make Dixie’s costume myself. She is going to be a pig.

I thought about getting a babies onsie and dye it pink. I have some bunny ears that I am going to dye pink and fold them over so that they look like pig ears. I am then going to take pipe cleaners and wrap them spirally around her tail like a pigs tail. Is there anything else you would suggest? Oh and also I am going to cut a tiny slot in the back of the onsie for her harness loops to go through.

Gunner is going to be a cow but I don’t know how to make a cow other than taking a onsie and dying black spots on it. How do I make utters and make him look like a cow?
